The veterinarian's report

Studies were carried out at the national veterinary school of Lyon to verify the possibility of bacterial growth in NULLODOR litter.
These studies were carried out on the 3 types of bacteria most frequently found in problems with infections of the urinary tract in cats (cystitis, nephritis) they are Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus.

Colonies of these 3 bacteria were inoculated into the litter and their evolution followed for 26 days.
We remarked that the number of colonies of bacteria of these 3 species diminished rapidly and this from the 5th day of inoculation.
At no time was there the smallest increase in the number of colonies, which means there is no bacterial growth.
For E. Coli there was no bacteria from the 5th day after inoculation, for Pseudomonas aeruginosa it's the 20th day and for  Staphylococcus aureus it's the 26th day.

We conclude that none of these three species of bacteria can develop in NULLODOR litter.
This phenomenon is explained by the absorption power of NULLODOR.  The ultra rapid dehydration from the litter inhibits bacterial development.
