6. weak packagingBags of cat litter, often made of paper, that split or tear and spill their contents are also a major cause or discontentment among cat owners. NULLODOR is packaged in a solid bag of thick waterproof plastic. The bag stays upright on its own and can not be split or torn unvoluntarily. 7. contamination / hygiene worriesThe hygiene issues in general associated with the litter tray are a concern to many of those interviewed. With the classic cat litters there is the worry of contamination by parasites and microbes when cleaning the litter tray. Notably there is a greater risk for pregnant women and for children with these problems.Parasites and bacteria can also be transfered from animal to animal, for example with kittens using the same litter tray. NULLODOR is totaly incompatible with bacterial developement, acarids or parasites. In addition by the instantaneous dehydration of matter in contact with NULLODOR these contaminants are disactivated. 8. cost of premium littersA certain number of people resented paying what they regard as high prices for a supposedly "premium" quality cat litter that gives them more or less satisfaction but not 100%.The monthly cost being around 18$ and even more for "premium" litters. As seen with NULLODOR one bag is sufficient for one month, this relates to a cost of 9 - 10$ per month per cat paid by the consumers. Meaning that NULLODOR has another advantage or being economic. 9. cleaning the litter trayCleaning the litter tray of used litter stuck in a clump to the bottom and with a nauseous smell, having to scrape out the old litter then wash the litter tray before starting again is not an enjoyable job either. After one month of use NULLODOR has changed colour from the pigments in the dried urine giving it a yellow appearance, but it stays dry and without odour.
When emptying the used litter, the litter tray is dry and clean ! 10. toxicity of the litterA question that is often asked to vets concerns the consequences of accidental ingestion of the litter by the animal or even by children, also that of getting it in the eyes, the effects on skin and fur etc. NULLODOR does not stick to any part of the animal and its accidental ingestion is totaly harmless.
